My doctor is switching my high blood pressure medicine.
I guess some of the effects I was getting are possible effects of that medicine. Some weren’t too.
The others she says “might just be stress”.
Still, rashes, shortness of breath and insomnia were worth her prescribing something else.
Hopefully this will be better.
I flushed the old ones.

Last night my chest was hurting like it did last year. As we recently had
the first Phoenix practice, and I’ve been doing other stuff after a month
off, I very strongly suspect that is the issue. But, as an overweight man
in his 40ies, it’s hard to get to sleep when your chest hurts. So, I
didn’t sleep much last night. I worry. Worry makes it worse.
So, instead of worrying, I read. Steve Martin just came out with an
autobiography about his stand up years and how he got into it.
I’ve read his other books/plays and liked them quite a bit. This book on
how and why he got going was very interesting.
I’m going to see the doctor this afternoon. Hopefully all is well. (Other
than I’m middle aged, fat, pale and have high blood pressure, none of which meets her approval.)
We’ll see.
